About EP: Reminiscences of a past that never was. This new chapter is a narration of an oneiric tragedy/drama (at the apogee of a realm?) about risking it all to overthrow the throne. The Fifth Stigma is an industrial and esoteric project, exploring the realms of history and wonders from forgotten eras through music.
Tired with the direction of contemporary techno, The Fifth Stigma aims to craft a slow, heavy and raw metallic techno, influenced by history, emotions and obscure world music, driven by a blend of several genres in times where everything seems to go faster, look alike and tend to be too easily accessible and instantly consumed.
Production wise, he forges intimate pieces, creating sonic atmospheres filled with fantastical imagery, conjured by the artist’s imagination, which have a compellingly oneiric quality, whilst always exploring new sounds from different horizons, from liturgical to techno, from noise to punk electronics.
He recently joined as resident DJ Los Angeles’ illustrious warehouse raves curator Dirty Epic, the collective behind the Compound series and Re/Form festival.
The Fifth Stigma’s selections flourishes of meticulously sorted dance-floor tracks ranging from techno to EBM to less known sub-genres, journeying across the wide scope of electronic music.
